Galloway should be fine for the start of training camp. In 15 games in 2007, Galloway caught 57 passes for 1,014 yards (17.8 avg.) and six touchdowns. He will be 37 in 2008 and has a history of injuries, but he's still worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy option. (Updated 03/27/2008)
"Me personally, I'd love to be ready for training camp," Williams said. "Ready for opening day. Of course, that's my goal. But at the same time, we've got to be smart with it." The Bucs do not appear to be counting on Williams next season. Earnest Graham, who rushed for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns in Williams' absence, is expecting a contract extension. The Bucs resigned Michael Bennett prior to the start of the free agent signing period and signed former Falcons RB Warrick Dunn on Monday. Williams finished 2007 with 54 carries for 208 yards and three touchdowns and three catches for 17 yards. He should be viewed as a late-round flier in most Fantasy leagues heading into 2008, and hopefully he can return in time to make an impact this season. (Updated 03/14/2008)
Simms is one of six QBs on the Bucs' roster (including retired passer Jake Plummer), and he feels like he's not part of the future for the club. He hasn't played in a regular season game since having his spleen removed in September 2006, but he's progressed enough to believe he will be ready to compete for a job this summer. Ultimately, Simms is not a reliable Fantasy option at this point. If he were to land in a position where he'd compete for a starting job, he'd be worth a look but not a draft pick. The Bucs had high hopes for the rookie Piscitelli, but now this injury puts his progress on hold until 2008. Drop him in all Fantasy leagues. (Updated 09/26/2007)
Jones has appeared in 43 games since 2004, but has never made a reception in his NFL career. You can see his value strictly lies in being a special teamer. Don't expect to hear his name called in drafts this summer. (Updated 02/12/2008)
