Taylor still a Dolphin: Ireland debunks talk of trade to Bucs for 3 picks - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

DAVIE, Fla. - As expected, the Dolphins tabbed Michigan tackle Jake Long with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon but, unexpectedly, he may still be perfecting his pass-blocking skills against six-time Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor in practice.

Will Henne pay off? It's luck of the draw for Dolphins - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

DAVIE, Fla. - Kansas City's head coach worked out two quarterbacks, on successive March days, at schools a few hours apart. He told each he would draft one of them. He kept his promise, too.

Prisco's Overall Draft Grade
A
Jeff Ireland and Bill Parcells did a really nice job. Jake Long was the right choice at the top spot. Getting Chad Henne in the second round was the cherry on the sundae.

New coach Tony Sparano has a real fix job on his hands. At least he has the guy who invented the game of football, Bill Parcells, helping him.
