The Bills continue to discuss a contract extension for four-year veteran WR Lee Evans and their agreement to play a series of games in Toronto has to help their cash flow.

The Bills are getting almost $8 million a year in additional revenue from Toronto interests and even after profit sharing will have a significant amount of new money to invest in their roster if they so chose.

Evans is a good place to start. He's one of the team's few productive stars whose best football is yet to come. Based on recent deals given Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald and Minnesota's Bernard Berrian, it would be wise for Buffalo to lock Evans' up long term before the cost rises further. He's now looking at a deal that will average $8 million a year. With the salary cap rising to $116 million per team in 2008, there's no reason Buffalo can't get a deal done with Evans.

As a Bills fan I have to look at what we did pretty well at in 2007.  So I was just curious how you would rank the AFC East in terms of their ground attack.

Buffalo: I think Marshawn Lynch and Freddy Jackson make a great combo and will be a bright sp

Most of you guys already know this, since it has been a day since the schedule is posted, but what do you fellow Bills fans think?

Quite a rivalry, but I'd rather us play in the Ralph and the dome is CLOSED. We won't have a great advantage like we usually do when Miami comes to Buffalo in December. Oh well, a win is a win a

I wish the NFL would add one of those little countdown clocks to their website. It should count the days until one of the worst run franchises in the NFL can move to Toronto. I will personally be throwing a huge party at ralph wilson stadium that day. This team sucks, embarrasses Buffalo with all the goofy moves it makes as well as being about as competitive as Orchard Park high school at the NFL ...(more)

4 Braylon Edwards: For years Edwards struggled, but only because he didn’t have a quarterback to throw the ball to him. Now that he has a good player in Anderson tossing balls in his direction, Edwards should rise on your draft boa ...(more)

I take for face value that Ralph Wilson really does want to keep the Bills in Buffalo. Remember, this is a gentleman who has managed to keep football in Buffalo since the AFL/NFL merger, through economic downturns and many losing seasons. That is really his legacy. I don’t think he wants to lose that and become the guy who took the N ...(more)

The Bills had an amazing draft adresseing everyone of their needs and the Bills fans should be proud of management not going WR in the first round and drafting possibly the best covercorner in the draft

If I was the Bills GM i would have traded up to get a better pass catching tight end instead of the guy we got in the later rou ...(more)

The entire Maniaxs' staff compiled their own rankings assigning 32 points to a #1 rank going down to assigning 1 point to a # 32 rank. Then, we added all the points and determined the final 2008 QB rankings. Let me reassure you that nothing particularly crazy happened during the ranking process like ranking ...(more)

At first, I thought McKelvin was a good, solid selection at #11. I was a little dissapointed/surprised the Bills did not trade down. Now that I look at it more closely, I feel the Bills brass made a very smart move. Not only can McKelvin be a solid corner, but he can add another electrifying return man to an already solid unit. ...(more)

Our 3rd round pick. I like this pick. We needed depth at defensive end and he can get to the quarterback. A DE out of VA Tech, let's hope that he's as good as another VA tech DE we drafted in '85. BRUCE!

While it would be nice to have a big, pass catching TE, I'm not so sure the Bills are in desperate need of one.  If Hardy lives up to expectations, the passing game could be pretty good this year.  From what I read, not only is Hardy potentially a big red zone go to guy, but he's actually a decent route runner and stretch ...(more)
