UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENTS

--LB Keith Adams is unlikely to be brought back.

--WR Tim Carter will not be re-signed after the Browns signed Donte Stallworth in free agency. Carter is a track guy trying to play football.

--OT Nat Dorsey is slow, but he can back up left or right tackle. With Ryan Tucker moving to guard, Dorsey could be re-signed at the right price.

--DE Bobby Hamilton could be back because Romeo Crennel is a Hamilton fan and there might be room with Orpheus Roye and Simon Fraser out of the picture.

--NT Ethan Kelley probably won't be pursued. He is coming off microfracture surgery and the Browns added Corey Williams and Shaun Rogers.

--NT Ted Washington will not be re-signed. He was slow and unproductive before being placed on injured reserve on Oct. 31.

RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS

--CB Daven Holly (tendered at $1.47M with 2nd-round pick as compensation) is smart and has a nose for the ball. With Leigh Bodden traded to the Lions, Holly will compete with Brandon McDonald for a starting job.

For those Brownies who think they have a division title in their future let me remind you of what Anderson did his last 7 games last year:

134 - 235   57%

222 yds/ game

This was against the Ravens ...(more)

I am just throwing it out there. I am not really a fan of his but he could be serviceable as a one two punch for the Browns. If we had two guys with experience and with our offensive line I think Alexande ...(more)

Do you think that Matt Walsh will provide any more information on the Patriots and their cheating habits?

I really hope he does.  That team stinks from the front office all the way down to its players...

I guess we'll find out May 13th when Walsh meets with the commish.

One thing that has really bugged me ...(more)

Do you think it was a fluke in Chicago that Adam Archuleta couldn't produce? At the bargain price he will demand, I think the Browns would be smart to take a flyer on him. He may have lost a step at age 30, but he could definately help mentor the young backfield. Ma ...(more)

Thank the Football Gods, we've gotten some good news related to our linebacking corp!  SportsIllustrated.com is reporting that Willie Mac is going to be retiring after this season.

While we'll have to endure another season of his lack-luster athleticism and missed-play opportunities, we'll be able to look forward to the 2009 Draft knowing that we're locked onto an ...(more)

If we had a 1st  2nd and 3rd round picks we would'nt care much about these draft picks.

So which of the ones do you think will become a diamond in the rough, and explain why.

I think DT Asthya Rubin will be a stud just because he is a perfect size for a dT in the 3/4 scheme. At least i expect him to get double teamed to help our Lb's get in for the sack.
