Lorenzo Booker
News
The Dolphins traded RB Lorenzo Booker to Philadelphia for a fourth-round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Booker had 28 catches for 237 yards in the final five games of the season and also added 28 carries for 125 yards. His stats would have been better if he played in the majority of the season, and he was held out for coach's decision, not because of injury.
Brian Westbrook
News
Believe it or not, Brian Westbrook posted his best year in the NFL in 2007, his sixth season. In 15 games, Westbrook had 1,333 yards on 278 carries (4.8 avg.) with seven touchdowns, adding 90 catches for 771 yards (8.6 avg.) and five scores. Aside from his receiving touchdowns, every other stat you just read was a career-high. Want more proof that Westy had a huge season? He notched a career-best 11 rushes for 20 or more yards and 104 runs and catches combined for first downs. In total, Westbrook averaged 5.7 yards on 368 total touches. Best of all? Westbrook had at least 20 touches in 13 of the 15 games he played in.
Sheldon Brown
News
The Eagles have officially signed free-agent CB Asante Samuel to a six-year contract, likely making him one of the highest-paid defensive players in the NFL. With that being the case, the Eagles are expected to try and trade either Lito Sheppard or Sheldon Brown. Sheppard, citing an injury history and inconsistent play, might be the odd man out.
Jack Ikegwuonu
News
The Eagles got the receiver they were hoping for in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft when they took DeSean Jackson from California. Philly also drafted DT Trevor Laws from Notre Dame in the second round, LB Bryan Smith from McNeese State in the third round, FS Quintin Demps from Texas in the fourth round, DB Jack Ikegwuonu from Wisconsin in the fourth round, LB Joe Mays from North Dakota State in the sixth round and LB Andy Studebaker from Wheaton in the sixth round.
Kimo von Oelhoffen
News
The Eagles' list of inactives for Week 12 at New England includes RB Tony Hunt, DB Quintin Mikell, DL Kimo von Oelhoffen, DL Victor Abiamiri and DL Montae Reagor.
LaJuan Ramsey
News
The Eagles listed the following players as inactive for Week 17 vs. Buffalo: QB A.J. Feeley (3rd QB), DB Brian Dawkins (foot), DB Lito Sheppard (knee), DL LaJuan Ramsey (coach's decision), DB Tanard Davis (coach's decision), TE L.J. Smith (knee), DL Montae Reagor (coach's decision).

Chris Clemons
News
Free-agent defensive end Chris Clemons signed a five-year contract with the Eagles on Saturday. Clemons had eight sacks in a reserve role with Oakland last season. He fills the spot vacated by the release of former Pro Bowl defensive end Jevon Kearse. Clemons will be part of a four-man rotation with Pro Bowl end Trent Cole, veteran Juqua Thomas and second-year pro Victor Abiamiri.

Jeremy Clark
News
The Eagles signed DT Jeremy Clark, CB Therrian Fontenot, WRs Michael Gasperson and Bill Sampy, and FB Jason Davis to reserve/futures contracts earlier this week. All five were on the Eagles' practice squad this season.
J.R. Reed
News
The Eagles agreed to terms on a one-year contract with safety J.R. Reed and tendered a one-year contract to restricted free agent cornerback Joselio Hanson. If another team signs Hanson to an offer sheet, the Eagles have seven days to match that offer. If they choose not to match, the Eagles will receive a second-round draft choice as compensation.
Dan Klecko
News
Dan Klecko signed a 2-year contract Monday with the Eagles, who plan to convert him from defensive tackle to fullback. The 275-pound Klecko has played defensive tackle and special teams and served as a short-yardage fullback for the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. The Eagles will use Klecko as a full-time fullback. "Everything I've ever done at fullback has been very raw," Klecko said. "This is going to be a whole learning experience."
Donovan McNabb
News
Eagles QB Donovan McNabb wasn't exactly thrilled with the team's offseason so far, especially since they didn't add many experienced playmakers on offense as McNabb had hoped. McNabb said the Eagles cannot expect their rookies "to come in and make a thousand plays for us." The list would include WR DeSean Jackson and RB Lorenzo Booker, technically not a rookie but considered part of the draft via a draft-day trade for a pick. McNabb rolled his eyes upon being asked if the Eagles could have been any more aggressive stocking this team with playmakers in the offseason. McNabb said of the changes made thus far by the Eagles, "It wasn't to my likeness, it was for the team." McNabb's views don’t necessarily reflect the understanding he has with Andy Reid. "I know he likes the new additions that are out there," Reid said. "Other than that I really haven't gone into all that with him."
Nick Graham
News
The Eagles inactives for Week 1 include QB Jay Feeley, DB Nick Graham, LB Pago Togafau, DL LaJuan Ramsey and DL Victor Abiamiri.
Montae Reagor
News
The Eagles listed the following players as inactive for Week 17 vs. Buffalo: QB A.J. Feeley (3rd QB), DB Brian Dawkins (foot), DB Lito Sheppard (knee), DL LaJuan Ramsey (coach's decision), DB Tanard Davis (coach's decision), TE L.J. Smith (knee), DL Montae Reagor (coach's decision).

Takeo Spikes
News
WIP-AM radio in Philadelphia, along with NFL Network, are reporting that the Eagles have released veteran LB Takeo Spikes. The Eagles traded for Spikes last offseason but saved $5 million in cap space by letting him go. In his first year with the Eagles, LB Takeo Spikes totaled 86 tackles (64 solo), one sack and four passes defensed. Spikes ended the season with a torn rotator cuff, costing him the last two games of the year.
