Flyers not quitting, Penguins not overconfident despite 3-0 lead
Sidney Crosby is trying to be diplomatic when saying the 3-0 lead is not all that. But the fact remains that the Penguins have played superior hockey to the Flyers, who Wes Goldstein says are still hoping for a miracle comeback that has occurred just twice in league history.

Usually a postseason flop, Hossa rising to occasion in Pittsburgh
He was a disappointment in many playoffs, yet Marian Hossa has been a big factor for the Penguins inthe postseason since being acquired at the trade deadline. Pittsburgh may not be able to keep him financially, but the right wing isn't concerned ... he's focused on the present, West Goldstein says.

Doing some things right still not good enough for Flyers
Despite achieving most of their game plan, the Flyers are one loss away from elimination after a 4-1 setback to the Penguins in Game 3. Wes Goldstein says it's not so much because of Pittsburgh's offense, but it's the under-appreciated defense that is getting the job done.

Well I didn't love him as a player, but I wish Colby Armstrong was still here and so does he, probably. He went from a 1st place team primed for a dynasty with fans that loved him and the team to a 2nd rate team with little future and where the fans don't give a damn, let alone know who he is. Hell, he even cryed when ...(more)

You scared? Jeez I'm terrified. While this WILL give the Flyers (and their fans) a big boost. Kimmo Timonen returning to the lineup will have little effect on the outcome of this series. I know Flyers' fans think it will. Man, did you see them last night? You ...(more)

I just don't get it.  I'm not taking away from the Flyers because they played a great game last night.  But why is it our smallest guy has been our best enforcer this series?  Tyler Kennedy seems to be the only Penguin that remembers how to thro ...(more)

I think it's impairative to sign Jarkko Ruutu because 1. he's an aggravator 2. he's a great role player 3. We risk him going to another atlantic or eastern team and I don't want to play him 4 or 8 times a year. Dupuis is another one, great PK man.

I just wanted to start this thread because I have a fear that we are going to get a ton of guys jumping aboard with us Stanley cup bound. I'm 20 and have been lucky enough to see Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr win two Stanley cups with Ron Francis also. I really would hate to see us become anything like the Boston teams so lets d ...(more)
