Personal
This history major says softball teaches you life lessons- how to communicate and work with people, how to work hard, and most importantly how to set goals. Recently married on August 23, 2003 to former UCLA basketball player Jason Flowers, this 5’7” athlete began her softball career because a friend brought a flyer to school. “My desire to succeed is greater than my fear of failure.” A quote Mims remarks as one to live by, she also adds the one thing softball means to her is opportunity in so many ways.
